“I recommend Ms. Alexandra Scarborough for any career position based on my knowledge of her accomplishments during her undergraduate years at Texas State University. In addition to her excellent academic work as a Geography Major and in the Honors Program, Alexandra has been President of her residence hall, an active member and officer of several geography student-organizations, a voting member and chair of the University’s Environmental Service Fee Committee, co-founder of the freshman Sustainability Exploration Camp, an AGS Senator, Managing Editor of the Persona Literary Magazine and an active participant in a variety of University and Community events including Bobcat Build and the Texas Stream Team water-quality monitoring team.
Ms. Scarborough has also begun preparing for her career as an urban planner by performing a very productive internship assisting the City of San Marcos planning staff with creating a new comprehensive plan and researching the topic of public participation in the urban planning process for her Honors Thesis. I believe Ms. Alexandra Scarborough has a great career ahead and will be a reliable, hard-working and thoughtful professional.”
